I have a 1933 Vedette Grange wall clock that is missing the pendulum. I would like to find an authentic replacement pendulum. Can you help me? Thank you. Popeye

Hi Jerry,

If by "authentic" you mean identical to the original, certainly no clock materials supply house will have such a pendulum. Your only other option would be to find a similar "parts" clock for sale at an auction site like Ebay or at a collectible clock sales site.

If you want a functional pendulum, although not identical in appearance to the original, you can assemble one yourself. Pendulum parts (top hook, rod, bob and regulating unit) are available from clock supply companies. The most difficult part will probably be calculating the correct length of the pendulum, which is a trial-and-error process unless you have the original pendulum.  http://www.clockmasteronline.com
