Question
The backplate on the works has the following data: 181958 - HN in a dotted oval, the letters connected by what looks like a caret mark - Made in Germany - also scratched on is what looks like 1-35-H3 or HB 1174. The clock dates from the 1920s. Can you help me identify the maker? Thank you

Answer
The only reference I can find is for Heinrich, BLESSING; Schwab.Gmeund, Germany.  The reference continues as follows,
096/76
KNOO, MFC, Jewellery
What that means escapes me.  I provide it simply because it was there.
Frankly I am not at all pleased with the results of this research.  If for nothing more than my own curiosity I would like to pursue this further.  To facilitate my doing so I need more information.  Could I prevail upon you to e-mail me, clear, digital pictures of the clock with emphasis upon the clock movements brass backplate.  I would truly appreciate the opportunity to look more into the matter.  Should you be inclined to humor me on this, please send via my personal e-mail <flashpowder@hotmail.com>  Use Heinrich Blessing Clock as subject.  Thank You WJP
