Question
Hello Mr Mills,  I have a 15 jewel illinois pocket watch.  The back of the watch
opens to the watch works through two lids.  That said, how do I adjust the
time?
Thank you in advance for your answer.

Best regards,
Andrew

Answer
Andrew,

when you say just the time, I assume you mean how to set the time to the correct time of day.

The bezel is the metal piece that holds the glass to the case of the watch. You need to unscrew that like you're unscrewing a jar. In the two o'clock position, you will notice a tiny little metal lever. GENTLY pull the lever out. Now turn the crown to set the hands.

Illinois pocket watches are very collectible. I am sure that's a wonderful watch. Congratulations.

Kind regards,

Melvin
