Question
I recently purchased a Kassel grandfather clock at an estate sale, it was running and keeping perfect time til we moved it. It came with a key,is a 31 day clock,says tempus fugit on the face if any of this helps. It will run fo about 30-45 minutes, chime when it is supposed to, then stop again.Any suggestions?  Thank you!

did you wind both sides tight? try both directions- not for sure the same way to wind.

is the tick-tock sound even?- tip the clock slightly left and right to hear the difference in sound the ticking makes. make sure it is not leaning forward or back.
