Question

"I have a urgus clock works the only id I can find is
urgus made in Germany 2 jewels un adjusted 4w 6/36 a 455884
I have had it to two repair shops with no luck I am trying to find a replacement  I can find the works that i thank will work but cant find a dial the one I have is 11 3/4" square I would grateful for any help you can give me

1) why not repair the original works?

2) Urgos is the correct name

3) 6/36 is the old Urgos part #  no longer in manufacture

4) a Hermle 350-020 movement is the closest replacement

5) Empire Clock shows a brass 11 3/4" square dial in their catalog (no winding holes)  part #200-70-112  $61.95-- but they do not sell direct and they say they take 2-3 weeks to get it after they receive and order from a clock repair shop. www.empireclock.com  1-800-333-8463
