Question
Watch has Benedict Brothers, New York, on the face.  On the movement, AWW Co, Waltham. S/N appears to be 9991752. When was it made, and does it have any significant value? Where could I get mor info about it?
Thank you very much.

Jim

Answer
Jim,

Benedict brothers was the name of a jeweler. The watch movement comes from the Waltham watch company and was made in the year 1900.

The value is mostly based on the condition of the watch. You need to be honest about this. There is no such thing for as "mint condition for its age". It's either mint condition or it's not.
Next, is the brand and a number of jewels in the movement. You already know the brand. Look at the movement and it will state how many jewels are in the movement. After you have that information, go to eBay and look at what similar watches are selling for. That will give you an idea of what your watch is worth.

Kind regards,

Melvin
