Clocks, Watches/Grandfather clock won't keep running

Question
How do I keep my grandfather clock running?  I moved it from Virginia to California.  I fiddled with the screw at the bottom of the pendulum and I finally got it to run.  Unfortunately, I moved the clock to clean behind it and now I can't seem to get it to run again.  Was my first solution pure luck?

Answer
If I am to help you I will need information.  Based upon what you have told me I believe your clock has moved out of beat as a consequence of its move.  Correcting this deficiency is relatively simple, however, before I can relate the how, I must be able to SEE your clock.  You will need to gain access to the rear of your clocks movement, (motor).  Copy down and send me all of the information that is stamped upon the brass backplate of that movement.  In all likelihood that will identify the exact movement involved enabling me to describe what actions you need take.  Regards WJP
