Question

Front of the Clok
I have a Herman Miller mantle clock which looks to be a wind up however, it has an electric motor installed. Stamped on the rear of the mechanism is "Herman Miller Mauthe Germany No. 150" and the numbers 122767.  It does not work and I would love to have it fixed or the mechanism replaced.
Any suggestions?

Tom

Answer
the clock shown was always an electric clock. So get it repaired at a clock shop. Any replacement mechanism would not be mechanical but battery operated and devalue the clock and no longer chime on the chime rods. your choice - get some estimates on the repair would be my suggestion.
