Hello Michael
i would like to ask you about the meaning of the word "BS" of 1161-853-BS movement. How is the difference between 1161-853-BS and 1161-853-AS?

Answer
I have been researching this and don't have a difinative answer yet. The only thing I have come up with so far is that the A might mean Autobeat and the S might mean that it has a seconds hand feature.
I sent an email to the importer of Hermle movements and hope to get a response within 24 hours.
I'll let you know when I find out more.
