Question
I have a Grand Father Clock that my wife purchased several years ago that has stopped working.  The movement has the following: 77 Emil Schemeckenbecher 451-050.  The clock kept time very good for a mechanical movement.  Where can I buy a replacement?

Answer
You can acquire a replace movement from Mark Butterworth at Butterworth Clocks Inc., @ 5300 59th Ave. West, Muscatine, Iowa 52761.  Phone: 1-563-263-6759   Fax: 1-563-263-0428.  Mark Is the largest seller of mechanical movements in the USA.  He is also on the internet..  Before contacting Mark copy down and have available all the information that is stamped upon your movements brass backplate.  He will need some of that information to provide you with the exact replacement.  Regards WJP
