Clocks, Watches/Old School Clock

Question
I recently redid my old school clock...Cleaning up the mechinism and reoiled it.  The clock now gains lots of time when fully wound and looses time as the spring is reaching its unwound state.  Any suggestions ...Thanks in advance..

Answer
Most spring wind clocks will gain a little time when first wound, settle in for a few days then slow down. I don't think cleaning it would affect the timekeeping so if it changed that much something else is going on.
Does the pendulum swing as far as it used to?
A short swing can cause a clock to have erratic timekeeping.
