Question
I need someone to repair my clock.  Can you refer me to a good repairman?

Thanks,

Lance Greene

Answer
Hi Lance,

There are many good repair people, and I couldn't recommend a particular, one, especially since I don't know what area you are in.  Aside from the phone book, you could look for one on both the NAWCC (http://www.nawcc.org/) and AWCI (http://www.awci.com/) websites. But certainly the best source is a personal recommendation from someone who has actually used a particular repairer.

400-Day (Anniversary) clocks are something of a specialty, and many clock repairers do not service these clocks. You should look for a repairer who specializes, and has considerable experience, in this area.
