Question
HI,

I recently obtained a Kieninger & Obergfell "Kundo" clock, which is in good condition with one exception....The entire circuit board, with the pulse circuit and battery holder is missing from the base.  I have the required background to build a replacement, but cannot locate the required schematic diagram.  Can you provide a source for me? Thanks for your kind assistance.

Answer
Hi Robert,

There are many Kundo mechanical clocks, but I think you are probably referring to the Kundo "Electronique" or ATO clock. I believe there were variations of the wiring and electrical components of this clock. The clock also uses an unusual germanium NPN transistor, which is obsolete and supposedly hard to find.

The best source that I know of for technical information on this clock, with some wiring information, is http://sound.westhost.com/clocks/kundo.html You can also find a discussion of this type clock at http://mb.nawcc.org/showthread.php?t=49  http://www.clockmasteronline.com
