Question
QUESTION: I have a Piper grandfather clock that I purchased at a garage sale and the chime was working.  When I got it home and set it up it won't chime.  It keeps time fine and the chime is not set to silent.  Can you offer a suggestion about what may be the problem.  Thanks!

ANSWER: I assume this is a weight driven GF--the heaviest of the three weights must go on the right side as you face the clock to run the chimes properly --advise
