Question
the clock 'machinery' is stamped W150M-39, bought appr 1963 in norway.
Can clock be repaired or replace mechanics.
It simly does not run any longer and the sound of the chimes is missing.

Thanks

Answer
I'm not familiar with the movement but given it's age I seriously doubt that a replacement is available. Most mechanical clocks can be repaired unless something major broke in the movement. Typical clock repair involves taking the movement apart, cleaning, installing bushings in the worn pivot holes and putting it back together.
This type of work is done with replacement parts that are available today. If a gear or other part inside the movement broke, it would still be repairable but the cost of having a part custom fabricated usually exceeds the value of the clock.
So it really depends on what is wrong with the movement. Sometimes oiling and adjusting the movement is enough to get it going again.
A clock repair person would have to look it over really well to give you a price on the repair.
