Clocks, Watches/winding a clock

Question
How do we wind an Alaron clock to get it to run for more than a day and to get
the chime to work.

Answer
If your clock is in good working order you can wind it all the way up until the key stops.
If you did that and the clock runs less than one week there is something else causing the clock to stop. It could be worn out, might need oiling or it could be out of adjustment.
There are too many things that can cause a clock to prematurely stop or for the chime to not run for me to list here. Without seeing the clock movement I don't know where to start.
If you send me a photo of the movement I might be able to give you more information.
