Question
My fiance has an antique clock that is in need of repair and as a Christmas gift I decided to have it fixed. Due to the fact that it was passed down from his grandfather, who passed years ago I am reluctant to send it to just anyone that I find online. Do you have any suggestions for me?

Answer
Hello Jenny,

You could talk to a local long time jeweler for a reference or to the NAWCC web site for a reference.  You are correct in being so careful.  Also a local furniture store might have a clocksmith on payroll.

What a great gift!

If you can visit the shop and get a detailed receipt showing case condition and b4 pictures showing the movement, case and dial closeups
