Question
My grandfather has an Anno 1760 saw clock and he is wondering how the pendulum attaches above the clock face.

Is it like a set screw setup or a pin or something. I would really appreciate any input you have Thanks.

Answer
I'm sorry for the delay in responding.  You didn't give me much information to work with.  My search using that data has yielded no results.  Based solely upon "Anno 1760"  I suspect your grandfather has what is called a "FOLIOT".  If so I might be able to some up with some useful data for you.  Before attempting the research I would need to undertake I would like to be reasonably sure that I am traveling down the right road.  If you can send me a digital picture of the clock.  If you do so be sure that a measuring device, such as a ruler, is next to the clock.  This would allow me to determine sizes.  If you can't do the picture, describe it to me, giving measurements.  Or if you wish make a drawing.  I need help to help you.  Regards WJP
