Question
I have a Howard Miller Model 513 wall clock. The problem is I have lost the chrome pendulum in a move. I can't find any place that has a replacement. Even Howard Miller Company could not help.
Can you?
The movement is a Urgos UW 7/29 and the serial number is 675078.
If I can't find a silver colored one, I'm tempted to get any pendulum that fits and have it chrome plated. So if you could tell me of any pendulum that fits, that will be helpful also.
Thanks in advance for your help,
Tony

Answer
length is critical to the time keeping - the adjuster will do + or - an inch up or down
the end needs to be able to fasten to the short leader hanging just under the mechanism(if you did not loose that to)
nickel plating will be much easier to get done
the bottom of the disk will be about 2" off the bottom of the clock case-that should give you a rough measurement

you can try a disk and just keep making it longer with wire or tape till the clock runs at the right speed to get the actual length.

with knowing the rough length and the diameter of the disk you might want you can check on Ebay, etc. or call Bud at www.clocksunlimitedonline.com  to see what he might have in chrome
