Hi,
I just acquired an E. Inagram Cabinet C mantle clock. How do I know the date of manufacture? The inside of the clock say Pat Oct 8 78 to Nov 11 79 and the sticker on the back says Regulator Pat 1885. Also the face and pendulum are quite plain I saw one exactly like it on another website and the clock face an pendulum on it was elaborate

obviously made after 1885 - their cabinet series was popular about 1895 and it is INGRAHAM  - photo here:

any numbers on the front of the mechanism itself? I have no more info
