Clocks, Watches/Junghans clock out of sync

Question
Hi. My 8 day Junghans Mantle Clock is out of sync. When we bought it, it was not chiming at all. In the process of working out the problem, my husband wound the hands without stopping for the chimes. It has the Westminster chime and now chimes correctly for each 15 minutes, but the bells are wrong on the hour. It chimes 1 o'clock at 4 o'clock, 2 o'clock at 5 o'clock etc. At the moment I have not wound it and it has stopped ticking. Am I able to fix this, or do I need a clock repairer? Grateful for any advice, Regards Jacqui.

Answer
hello Jacqui,

All you need to do is carefully and slowly move the short hour hand to the hour that it just struck and then reset the clock stopping for each chime.  If it has a silence lever cut it off and reset without stopping for a chime sequence and then cut it back on and it will reset after one hour of running.

Hope this will be of help
