Question
I just purchased a Kuempel grandfather clock from 1976. The sellers told me it was a "kit" clock. Can you tell me anything else about it or original/current value? it seems to be in perfect condition. thank you!!!

Your clock came from a high end company out of Minnetonka, Minn, The company started in about 1916 but now is out of business. They used a high grade German movement. Not much to tell as the current price would be based on what someone would pay. Ebay has changed appraisals greatly and I am not qualified to appraise. They made complete clocks and some of the best kit clocks.
I hope you enjoy your clock but dont forget cleaning and service by a certified clocksmith.
