Question
I've had my clock for 20 years. Last night the pendulum stopped swinging. I have tried to restart it several times. My husband got a level to see if the clock had been bumped and caused the problem. Nothing works. Ideas?

Sounds like he is tired and simply does not have the strength to push his old gears around anymore. I suggest you have the clock cleaned, lubricated and adjusted. I am sure he would be most grateful and would reward you with many years of happy service. Regards WJP
