Question
when pulling on the chain to wind up the chimes, the very heavy weight came off the chain, and the entire chain came off.  How can we put the chain back through the gears?
 Thank you.
 P.S we can open the face of the clock on both sides of the clock.


Answer
in the future do not try to lift the weight while pulling on the chain--JUST PULL THE CHAIN

open the right side door - feed the end of the chain that does NOT hook to the top of the weight over the chain wheel and click-rotate the chain wheel with your finger till you can get the end out down below and drop the hook end of the chain down the seatboard hole or slot nearest you.
