Question
have pearl grandfather clock. recently moved, removed chains. 2 chains have closed ends and 1 has j hook. how do they go back on.

                                        thanks in advance

Answer
the hook end chain traditionally matches the ring in the end of the one heaviest right side weight

the other two match the hooks found on the other two weights

not sure if your manufacturer upheld the tradition?

the entire mechanism needs be removed from the clock to replace the chains --perhaps you should call a pro?
