Question
hi. i have a German cuckoo clock that ticks and everything it just wont chime. what do i do.

Answer
Hello Joel.

Sorry but there are many things that stop a cuckoo and most take a full tear down to repair.  The first thing is poor, old or no luberication and also wear in the bushings.  Give the weight on the right a slight tug downward at 12 or the 6 and see if it starts  and if it does it is in need of service/cleaning.
If the clock has not been serviced in the last 8-10 years it is time.

Good luck and let me know.
