movment clock
hi, me and my partner are servicing our collection of various antique clocks, and we have a few suspension movement ones in domed cases, can you advise on how we are to tell which grade of spring is used, as it has a set of balls at the bottom of the arm which should rock back and forth clockwise to anticlockwise. i am trying to locate a name on it to give you more idea of the clock in question, but just wondered if you knew what im asking for anyway. thank you.

The movement must be identified in the Horolovar 400 day Repair Guide. If you tell me what the markings on the back plate of the movement and the height and width of that back plate I will look it up in the book and tell you what thickness of spring you need.
I'll tell you the common ones now:
Schatz 49  uses .0040"
Keininger and Oberfield (Kundo) Full size .0032", Miniature .0023"
