Question
I have just purchased a Barwick Clock Division, Howard Miller Clock Company Model #4992.  The information on the movement is:
               73
         Howard Miller Clock Co.
          Zeeland, Michigan
            Two121Jewels
          made in West Germany
            unadjusted
             1050-020

I know you can not assess value, however, can you give me an idea of the date of production.  It runs wonderfully and has great sound.  I am just curious as to the date of production, and also where I can get a value estimate.

Thank you
Lou Lundy

Answer
Hello Lou,

Usually on the inside door there is a serial number sticker.  You can call Howard Miller in Zeeland, Mi and they will give you the date it was made.  Real nice folks.

Thanks to the internet prices are all over the board so I just caint go there.

Good luck and enjoy your clock.
Harold
