Question

Clock Mechanism
I have a AA battery operated clock movement that needs to be replaced and I'm having a hard time figuring out exactly what I should get.  The mechanism says "Young Town Quartz, Made in Taiwan, No (0) Jewels Unadjusted, 12888, Pat. Pend. 00399849."  It has hour, minute and second hands that snap into place.  I'm attaching a picture of the front and back.  Thanks in advance.

Answer
Hi Craig, Matching quartz movements with press on hands can be difficult. The movement body is pretty much the same size as any mini quartz movement but the hand mounting holes are made in different diameters. Try Klockit.com and see if you can find a match there.
