Question
I pulled the chain to wind the clock, started the pendulum.  The pendulum won't continue to swing. It stops right after being started.  What can I do?

Answer
Your problem could be many things.  Tell me about it so that, perhaps, we can narrow the probabilities to manageable magnitude.  For starters, when you pulled the chains to wind the clock could you have disturbed the position of the clock, (gotten it out of level position)?  Has the clock been acting unusual?  If so please describe.  How long has it been since the clock was professionally cleaned and adjusted?
In any case my very first action is to verify the clock is in a level and perpendicular position.
Please let me know.  Regards WJP
