Question
THERE ARE HAND WRITTEN NUMBERS ON THE BACK # 46-1247 . I AM ASSUMING THAT THE LATTER # 1247 REPRESENT THE DATE DEC, of 1847, AM I CORRECT ?. ALSO , THE BODY OF THE CLOCK IS IN GOOD CONDITION . WHAT IS A FAIR PRICE TO CHARGE IF I WERE TO SELL IT.?

Answer
I doubt very much the hand writen numbers have anything to do with the manufactuing of the clock.  I suspect the number is more likely a number assigned by the original seller of the clock.  I cannot do valuations with out having the clock in hand.  Regards WJP
