Clocks, Watches/Grandfather clock - moved hour hand back

Question
So I know that you are not to move the hands back - but I did.  I moved the hour hand back and now it will not move.  My question is can this be fixed and will it cost a lot of money?  It is a Ridgeway clock.  It looks like the hand has "Jumped" the gear.

Answer
Hello Teresa,

The hour hand, not the minute hand,
is frictioned to a brass tube and can be mover to any position without damage.  with your fingernails or some other hi tek tool press the hour hand toward the dial slightly and see if that works.  Make sure it does not touch the dial.

Feel free to call me as this and other tweaks are better explained on the phone sometimes.
