Question
Martin,

I have an old ceramic mantel clock with a Lanshire Self Starting Model T4 120v movement.  It has quit working.  Is there a modern day replacement movement with the same dimensions that could be fit into the clock?  Thanks.

Answer
Hi Tony,

There are still several Lanshire electric movements shown in the www.timesavers.com catalog. I have no way of checking what the dimensions of the old movement are, but the current movements are quite compact and very easy to install. Your original hands may or may not fit, but a variety of hands is available. If the new Lanshire movements don't fit, there are also quartz (battery) movements which are extremely compact. You will probably need different hands for these.  http://www.clockmasteronline.com
