Question
Do you know what kind of solution should we use to clean the old antique cuckoo clock case without damaged the finish and wood?
Thanks a Mil!

Answer
Hello Frankie,

You can use a mild solution of Murphys oil soap and an old paint brush with the bristles cut off to about 2 inches long to get into the cracks and then I use Old English dark furniture put on with the same paint brush and left on without wiping for a couple of days and then wipe it off if you think you need to.  It is oily and some folks don't like it.

Sometimes I skip the Murphys soap but if you use it don't soak the finish and wipe it off with paper towels and allow to dry.

Hope this is of help.
