Question
I just purchased my clock and although it keeps proper time, one side of the clock has to be elevated about 1/4" off of level to get the proper "tick-tock" sound and continue running.  Is there a way to adjust the movement inside the case so it will work in a level position.

Thanks
Tom

Answer
hello Thomas,
Sorry but my computer was down for a day.

Assuming it is a shelf clock looking at the back of the movement you will see a wire coming down to what looks like an upsidedown crutch and the pend. wire goes up thru the slot.  with fingers hold the wire with the crutch slot near the top and with other fingers slightly bend that wire left or right.  then listen to the clock on the level and see if it helped or made it worse.  It is trial and error but usually if you have to lift the left side that is the direction you should bend the crutch wire.  Tuff to explain.

Good luck with your adventure
Harold
