Question
I just inherited the above clock from a good friend, however, when we were hanging it my husband did not read the instructions on how to set the time!!  He forwarded the minute hand clockwise without stopping for the clock to strike at every quarter.  The result is that the time is not coordinated with the strike and chime.  It is off by 5 hours.  We have tried turning the minute hand counterclockwise several times but still get that 5 hour difference.  How can I reset it???  Would appreciate any input!!  Thanks

Answer
Move the hour hand only to the hour that the clock is striking. Then use the minute hand to set the time.
I suspect that someone moved the hour hand at some point.
Let me know if this does not correct the problem.
