Hi, I recently purchased a GF clock at an auction, and it did not come with a manual.  Mov't No. A406-001.  It is level, however, it will not continue running after I set the pendulum in motion.  Is there a shut off switch, and where?  The gears are turning, and visually everything appears in good shape.  Also, where can I get a manual?  Thanx.

Hello Ronda,

Most of the time after a move the clock is knocked out of beat.  
Try this.

Pull the pend ball to the far left ant touch the case and then just let go.  If there is glass on the sides of the case put your fingers where to protect the glass.  If that dosent set the beat try the right side..  You should hear an even tick-tock sound if it is in beat.

Sorry but I didnt fully answer your question.
No there is no cut off switch for the timekeeping but usually there is a lever at the 3 oclock on the dial for the chimes.  you can lift and lower that lever to see it it starts the chiming that may be locked up from the move.  I know of no manual available.
