The clock fell off the wall now I can't get it to run. When I go to wind clock springs are already wound tight

Carefully examine the pendulum hanging components.  I suspect damage to that area, possibly an out of beat condition.  To determine if this is indeed your problem, start the clock by causing the pendulum to swing.  Listen very carefully, if this endeavor results in a tick/tock sequence the clock is definitely out of beat, if the clock produces a tick/tick beat, the clock would be in beat and we must look elsewhere.  Try this simple test and let me know the results.  We can move on from there.  Regards WJP.
