I have an enfield mantle clock ,it worked fine till we moved now it wont work with the pendulum on but works without it( although it runs fast)

The clocks not running has allowed the lubricants on your clock to congeal with the atmospheric dirt that has accumulated on the clock to emulsify into a friction inducing mess.  This must be broken up.  There is a possibility that introduction of fresh lubricant might take care of the matter, at least temporarily.  You can acquire a clock lubricating kit via the inter-net.  Simply seek out 'clock oil kit'.  Most kits provide instructions as well as lubricant.  One such kit can be found at <howtorepairclocks.com/clock-oil.html>.  The ultimate solution to your problem is to have the clock professionally attended to.  Regards WJP
