Question
Hello

I have a Franz Hermle wall clock # 341-020 that will not keep runing. I wound it and swung the pendulum but the pendulum keeps stopping.  Can you help.

  Thanks

Answer
I suspect your clock is out of beat.  Try this, holding the pendulum at its very bottom, pull down with a force of about 1#, thus holding, swing the pendulum back and forth in an arc of about 3" allowing 1.5" on to the right and 1.5" to the left.  Stop the swinging at dead center.  Now start the clock, if being out of beat was the problem, this procedure will correct.  If that is not the problem I suggest you have the clock cleaned.  Regards WJP
