Question

Front Main
You had a prior question re:  Howard Miller Mod: 620-218 here http://en.allexperts.com/q/Clocks-Watches-1747/2009/3/herman-miller-wall-clock-1... The clock is 30", hour hand 12", minute hand 9" - second hand area diameter 3" - that hand is missing.

Looks like you never got the additional info you requested - here's what I found that you'd asked about:

I don't see anything between the hour and minute hands and the only marking on the plastic movement on the back is "Quartex" "Lake Geneva WI"

I dropped this clock when moving a year ago and a) the hour/minute movement doesn't seem to operate and b) the separate second hand/movement got lost in transit.  Two questions:  Can I replace these pieces?  If so where? and Will the clock work if I only have a movement for the hour/minute hands?  They don't appear to be connected in any way.  Thanks for any help you can provide.

I only seem to be able to upload 1 photo at a time - I have photos of the movement and a close up of where the hands meet on the front.  Let me know if you need those and how to get them to you.

Answer
We sell Quartex parts but I don't know what the missing piece looks like. Also, in your photo it looks like the hour hand is stuck to the back of the minute hand. Try pushing the hour hand down so there is some space between it and the minute hand. This may get the hands moving again.
