Clocks, Watches/A. Turler Zenith Pocket Watch

Question
Hello,
I am in possession of what appears to be a stainless steel pocket watch, with the name A. Turler above the word Zurich on the face. It has an original stamped 5 digit number on the inside of the back case, which I'm suspecting is something other than the actual serial #. And, certain other numbers were etched on the inside case (M6-53)<13M>, and 08653. Apparently post-dating the 5 digit number, based on the manner in which it was etched.
I have searched for the history of the Turler family, serial numbers for Zenith watches, and antique Swiss made pocket watches, but am coming up short on anything regarding A. Turler and the possible age of this watch.
Would you happen to have any information that could help. My next move would be to go to a jeweler to have them open the casing to expose the mechanisms, but am hoping you could shed some light on what I've described.
Thank you,
Orlando
AnswerSorry! I am not going to be of much help to you. I stopped dealing with watches many years ago and have long since passed along the relative research information that I had collected over the years. I did however, find a number of references. The first notes the Ziyneth watch made in Ziyneth, Switzerland during 1910 by FAVRE-JACOT, Georges. There are several notations indicating FAVRE-JACOT established watch factories at Neuchatel, Switzerland during the years 1843 thru 1917. He also established a satellite plant in Pforzheim, Germany. That's all I can find. Regards WJP
