Question
Mr. Meyer,

i have a Howard Miller grandfather clock, model 610-110. It has a broken pendulum suspension spring. The spring has a plastic end that fits into the pendulum connector rod. Where can I order this part?
thank you for your help.

Answer
Hi John,

Suspension springs are available from clock materials houses like  Timesavers (www.timesavers.com) or Merritts Antiques (www.merritts.com). Their printed catalogs show the springs in actual sizes; you can place both parts of the broken spring on the page over the pictures and see which size is correct. Unfortunately, on their websites the springs do not always show in actual size due to the differences in monitor display sizes, so it is preferable to get a printed catalog before ordering.  http://www.clockmasteronline.com
