Question
at the 12 i found the dial to f-s,but at the tip of the hook where the ball used to be since it is missing, what weight would you hang on it,or what would you advise,i have tried a few things like a nut on a chain, and then 2 nuts, with a little space between them, kind of making do with something you know nothing about, but this is very interesting to see how these things work, i should have taken up this at a younger age, all of the workings just to make a clock work has really begun to make me pay very close attention, THANK YOU, for your help, BRENDA

Answer
Brenda, the f is for fast and the s is for slow. I think you are telling me that you need a pendulum bob. I need to know the brand and style of the clock before I can suggest any specific parts.
Please give me as much information as possible, a photo would be great as well.
