Question
I have a Linden Electronic Chime Clock. It was made by Cuckoo Clock MFG. Co. Inc. 40 West 25th Street New York, N.Y. Can you tell  me where would be the best place to have the clock repaire? The chimes work, but clock functions do not work. It is battery operated. Thank You,

Answer
Hi Lonnie,

Quartz/battery do not have repairable internal parts. If you have installed fresh batteries, and the hands are not hitting each other or the dial, then the movement will have to be replaced.

Many clockmakers will replace the movements on these clocks, but some prefer not to work on battery movements. Aside from, obviously, the telephone book and a websearch, you can find lists of clockmakers by region at the NAWCC (http://www.nawcc.org/) and at the AWCI (http://www.awci.com/).
