Clocks, Watches/Daneker Floor Clock

Question
I inherited a floor clock from my father but it will not stay running.  It is a key wind clock that chimes on the 1/4 1/2 3/4 & hour with a pendulum.  The face has Daneker written at the top & the plate inside says: The York County An original by Daneker  Fallston Maryland. I would like to know the approximate value & age of this clock & also if you can tell me if there is a qualified repair person in my area that would be willing to look at it.  All of the ones I have contacted do not work on key wind clocks.  I live in Citrus County Florida which is about 70 miles north of Tampa on the west side of the state.  Thank You

Answer
I am not familiar with your area, sorry.
The clock may be 'out of Beat'
Listen to the sound of the clock ticking.
If it sounds like Tick tock, then a repair is likely.
If the ticking sounds un even ie tick & tock then you may be able to correct this by placing a small piece of card under one side of the clock case...good luck
