Question
On my clock cannot get the weights to go down, and need to release the chimes. Clock does not chime and cannot wind the first and third weights. Hope I am explaining this right and am hoping that you can help me.

Answer
The release for the weights is on the chain gear or cable drum depending on what type clock you have. I don't recommend that you let down a cable movement without great care and further instructions. Let me know if your clock is chain or cable driven.
