Question
I bought this Ridgway Grandmother clock in February 1996 brand new. It has 3 weights wound thru the face. It has not been oiled since then (almost 13 years) I am worried that it could break. How do I oil the gears etc to keep it working properly?

Answer
Do not worry it will not break.

it will wear to the point of needing overhaul or replacement of the mechanism in 20-25 years even if you oil it professionally every year!

save your money for the year 2021

when oiling the clock gears never get oiled.
