Question
I have a table top pendulum clock that was given to me in 1986. For some time, the battery has been dead. I finally got around to trying to change it and mistakenly opened the compartment to the clock mechanics instead of the compartment to the battery. The little plastic parts started falling all over the place. I have been trying to put it back together ala a 3-d jigsaw puzzle and am such at the very last with two wheels and the connector that strokes the pendulum as some one of the wheels rotates. Can I get a diagram of how these pieces fit back together? At this point it is more of a puzzle challenge than anything else!

Thanks!

Leslie

Answer
I am unaware of any diagrams that would help you.  Were I in your position I would simply replace the movement.  I can appreciate your desire to repair what you have yourself, it offends me when these things appear to be beating me.  Still I would go the replacement route, and kick the damaged thing into the right concition at my pleasure.  Good luck, WJP
