Question

Seth Thomas stamp
Hi, I was wondering if you could tell me anything about a Seth Thomas mantle cloth I purchased at a thrift store? It was missing the pendulum and the key. The paper on the inside of the door says "Woodbury" and also has the #6110.I was able to find a key at a local antique shop but I am having no luck locating the right pendulum. The piece it fits on has a flat end that is just over 1/8" wide.I have taken a photo of the stamp on the clock movement for you to look over.I hope will give you all the info you need. Thank you in advance for your help with these questions.

Answer
Your clocks movement was produced by Hermle and is their model 341-020.  Parts for this movement are readily available from any clock materials house.  To name a few that sell to the public and have on-line catalogs:  TimeSavers in Arizona, Meritt's Antiques in Pensylvania and Ronell Clock In Oregon.  You can find these firms on the internet.  You can scan their on-line catalogs and find what you need and/or call their order number, to speak with a counterman who will assist you in finding the absolutley correct part(s) needed.  Regards WJP

PS  Based upon what I see in the picture, your clock is in need of cleaning.
